多読（たどく Extensive Reading) クラスの発表（はっぴょう）
12/11（木）4:30-6:15ごろ 図書館１かいのFishbowlで、日本語の多読クラスのポスター発表があります。日本語の本もたくさんあるし、クラスメート（ワンさん、レーマーさん、ウェイズさん）の発表もあるから、ぜひ来て下さい！

The Asian American Association presents its annual signature production, Asian Allure! This year's theme expresses the growth of the Asian community at Notre Dame. Through the art of dance, fashion, music, and speech, the show will expose the voices and growing experiences of different individuals in both traditional and modern styles.

日本語多読（たどく）の授業 (1-2cr)
みなさん、来学期のregistrationがはじまりますね。どんな授業をとるかきめましたか？ まだかんがえていますか？
日本語多読（たどく）の授業が、毎週木曜日にありますよ。１−２たんい (credit)なので、時間があったらとりませんか？ テストや小テストはないし、宿題もあまりありません。２年生の授業では、あまり読む練習ができないので、とてもいいadd-onだと思いますが、どうですか？
Extensive Reading in Japanese II (1-2 cr): Thursday, 4:30-5:20/6:10 pm
In this course, students choose their own Japanese reading materials from the Hesburgh Library Collection (First Floor Fish Bowl) and read them independently at their own pace using the extensive reading method. Tadoku (extensive reading) means to read books for students’ own pleasure, at a difficulty level at which they can read smoothly and quickly without looking up words or translating. We have graded readers (Level 0~5), picture books, comic essays, manga, etc. Even 1st Yr students will be able to find books at their level. Additional activities, such as group discussions, journal writing, presentations, and shadowing may be incorporated into the class.

夏の留学プログラムミーティング
11/17（月）の会話テーブルの後、CLSC で夏の留学プログラムミーティングがあります。去年や今年の夏、日本で勉強した学生が話をします。きょうみがある(be interested)人は、ぜひミーティングにさんかして(to join)下さい。しめきりは、２月はじめ(beginning of February)です。
